Conservative Patriot, Kirby Delauter
Rachel Maddow had an hilarious story on a low level conservative
politician out of Maryland named Kirby Delauter. Now, this Kirby
Delauter, who, BTW, goes by the name of Kirby Delauter, is pissed off at
a local reporter who reported that Kirby Delauter had an issue with a
local ordinance that limits parking space for elected public officials
like Kirby Delauter. Anyway, Kirby Delauter mentioned it in the local county meeting, and the reporter mentioned that Kirby Delauter had
mentioned it. Then, things got funny for the First Amendment, and for
Kirby Delauter, patriot, conservative, publicly elected official, and
now, the most famous person with the name of Kirby Delauter.
Anyway, look it up as the final piece on Rachel's show tonight. Kirby Delauter, to make a long story short (too late!) is threatening legal action to the reporter of the local paper for using his name and reporting on Kirby Delauter as an elected official (named Kirby Delauter) WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION AND AUTHORIZATION.
How is it that it's always upstanding, conservative, patriotic Americans like Kirby Delauter, that have these wonderfully arcane definitions of what the Constitution says and allows? I'm sure, that at some point, Kirby Delauter has stood up in some public forum or other and said something along the lines of, "I'm Kirby Delauter, and I'm here as a patriotic American to stand up for the Constitution!"
Here's one guy that deserves to be well known. Spread the Tale of Kirby Delauter far and wide!
I think it would be a good idea if, when some patriotic right wing defender of Constitutional fundamentals screws up the entire meaning of the Constitution (as they are apt to do, ALL THE DAMN TIME...) we should just say, "Look! He pulled a Kirby Delauter!"
