S. E. Cupp, The Actress and Hooker

  The Friendly Atheist
pulls apart fake news commentator, S. E. Cupp.

S. E. Cupp Explains
"Cupp says she, like believers, “agree[s] with pretty much all of the Ten Commandments.” Really? Including the first four?! What about coveting? Isn’t that the driver of capitalism?"

Yeah. Okay. If Cupp is an atheist, I'm the King of the Hindus.

Atheism, as almost all of the comments to Hemant's blog have already pointed out, is nothing more than a marketing "hook" for her. As are the glasses, the mask of intellectualism. They're both a lie for her, and they keep her in good stead with the crowd she wants to be associated with. But she's not only a bad liar, she's not very bright. And that's why she's no longer on MSNBC's The Cycle anymore. Her gig playing the conservative atheist, the smart, perky, young redhead could not stand up to the scrutiny of people that were actually who and what they were saying they were.

If you watched her much at all, you would see that she had nothing much to add to the show (or any show she shows up on), and couldn't defend her position when she opened her mouth. She was candy for the camera, and nothing more. Fluff. You could see, on many occasions that she KNEW she was out of her league.

Her stint on CNN will be brief, and she will very soon be seen on the only venue that fosters that kind of duplicity. They will soon declare: "S. E. Cupp, welcome home to Fox News".

Here she is totally flummoxed on CNN's Crossfire on 1/15/14, lost in her own notes...
Cupp on Huckabee. Wrong again.
Fake it for the cash...

Human rights are "small ball".

And, from the HuffPost, "These atheists are rare, and for some like Cupp, I question her sincerity in either politics or atheism and wonder if one or the other is a good money making gimmick."

Now stuck in a show on CNN with a lousy time slot and nearly no viewers, Cupp comes out swinging with what she thinks is controversial and "smart" enough to gain traction and attention. She's "a better atheist than Bill Maher". Read along as you watch her contradict herself in less time than it takes for the page to load. And the page should load fairly quickly.

She has never explained, nor defended her "atheism". She is fond of quoting and defending the most extreme religionists from the right, but never once defined what atheism means to her, except to blatantly say in this video that it made her feel different. She's stuck in a teen angst loop of contradiction. She wants to be different, to stand out, but to fit in. So she adopted a persona, in reality, just the word of "atheism".
Anyway, as the media goes these days, she brought the spotlight back to herself ( alittle) by saying something stupid and insane. And I'm adding to her unearned fame. But, so be it.
One of my favorite bloggers, Hemant Mehta of The Friendly Atheist picked her idiot rant apart, piece by piece with his usual aplomb:
