Roads for the Rich
Estimates
are around 15 TRILLION dollars needed for our infrastructure around the
country with 3 trillion of that needed immediately for emergency
repairs. And none of it would have been that urgent nor expensive had we
invested in it before it became dire.
But, no. We needed to fight made up wars and give tax cuts to the comfortable. Notice that the roads in the wealthier parts of towns, AND the roads around seats of government are in far better shape than the ones the rest of us have to use every day.
Quality roads are provably another major (and not talked about ) subsidy for the wealthy. Among so many others.
