Equivalencies
How
is assuming all Republican voters are evil or ignorant any different
than when Republican voters assume all Democrat voters are drug riddled,
welfare mooching, baby killers?
It's become far too easy and, to a more disturbing trend, socially acceptable to vilify individuals for disagreeing about politics.
Alex McDowell Anti-science, anti-worker, anti-women, anti-LGBT, anti-peace, anti-education, anti-Americans, anti-progress, anti-environnment. Pro-gun, pro-slavery (both outsourcing jobs, and the private prison/slave industry in our own country), pro-theft, pro-racist, pro-propagandist, pro-lying, pro-bullying, pro-theocracy, pro-plutocracy. Hell, I'm forgetting quite a few...Yeah that's no false equivalency you got going there. I didn't even mention a party name. Do you know which one I'm talking about?
And further down...:
Alex McDowell We survived Bush. You will survive Obama. "You know, you're three times more likely to be robbed by a black person than a white person. Does that mean you consider all black people to be dangerous? Following your previous example, it would seem that is the case."
Really? Define "robbed". Nah. Not racist, pro-plutocracy at all.
Alex McDowell I'm
desperately trying to find the video clip of that wonderful moment in
the 2012 GOP debates when the question was asked about creationism where
EVERY candidate raised their hand. Harder to find than I would have
thought. John Huntsman at least regretted the moment. How's his standing
in the party these days?
Alex McDowell Still indicative of intransigence and failure to deal with reality. And the lock-step of the party.

Carl Levin, Bernie Sanders, Al Franken, John Lewis, just to name a few vs Mike Lee, Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Louie "Asparagus" Gohmert, Joe "Windmill" Barton, Ted Cruz...Need I go on?

Alex McDowell Give
us one example of a GOP elected official left that is either not
bat-shit crazy with racism, religious Dominionism, sexism, anti-science,
or xenophobia, or is not in it to steal the treasury for everything
they can get their hands on for themselves, or their plutocratic
masters. Just one. Tell us all about your "moderates" that are looking
out for the best interests of America's future.
Alex McDowell NOW, I apologize. My memory wasn't very good. It was about spending cuts v taxes. The "10-1 question".

Alex McDowell You may not have supported him, you may not have even voted for him, but when all was shaken out, this was your guy:
