Fox News. Just Today. Just Two.

Fox News has been proudly touting two stories of government waste and malfeasance. Repeatedly and loudly. $8 Million for the Marine Corps new "unisex" hat which they claim is a conspiracy to woosify the Corps. And the $658 Million spent on the website for the ACA that doesn't work.

Both stories are full of what Stephen Colbert coined as "truthiness". If you're of a certain political/philosophical bent, these two stories would seem to reinforce your beliefs. They have all you need. Simplicity. Repetition. Easy outrage. And facts and numbers. Lots of facts and numbers to back them up.

Only problem is, the facts and the numbers have been made up. Not a problem for Fox. Just scream it loudly and often, and the facts don't matter.
