   In other words, he's making tons of money for ammo manufacturers by feeding into the zeitgeist of right-wing paranoia. And I imagine that he's very well reimbursed for it.

   These are not "patriots". These are terrorists. They want to violently overthrow the government, a government ostensibly voted into office by the people. There is no "love of country" here. It's a paranoia and hatred of the people they share the country with.  Every time you hear anyone say "America, love it or leave it", you're hearing what psychology calls "projection". These are people that have no love of the idea of this country. They love a country they dream of in their heads that has no one but people just like them in it.
