SCOTUS Made it an Historic Week

I'm neither gay, nor black. Life is tough, and I have my own damn demons. But I have the privilege of being straight, white, male, and American. Take my demons and add any other demographic, and I would be crushed under the weight of it. Right now, I'm a straight, white, male, American, IMPOVERISHED human being, and that status is killing me.
If I had to go through life knowing that most of humanity had the deck stacked against me before I even got to say, "hello", simply for who and what I was, not even for a large part of the TOTALITY of who and what I am, but for what should be a sole, non-controversial, interesting facet of my life, I doubt I would still be here. I'm not that strong.
So, anyway, SCOTUS. The flank of the justices that voted in support of voting rights and against DOMA, thank you. You were doing your job to support your core purpose for existing on the court. Equal justice under the law. The other guys? I'm ashamed of you. Anybody in their right mind would be ashamed of you. History will most undoubtedly be ashamed of you.
